Open Advising: Project tracking and working from home
For Program Managers and Program Staff
March 24, from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm CT
Universities across the country are closing their campuses to defend against the spread of COVID-19. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is opening up its technical assistance resource to any program manager or program staff transitioning to working from home and looking for tips and tricks. Attendees are also encouraged to bring questions about how to track projects, especially new projects that might come up to tackle unexpected community needs like COVID-19 response.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ staff will bring knowledge and resources to assist with the following items:
- Hands on practice and tips-and-tricks for working from home.
- Practices to keep up efficiency and limiting bottlenecks caused by limited software and hardware at home.
- Lessons learned from the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Project Tracking Tool.
To join, use the Zoom call information below during the times listed above. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ staff will be in the Zoom room once you arrive. Staff will listen to your situation, ascertain what type of support you’d like, and then provide support where possible. Staff will provide assistance on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Those looking to join can call-in for any amount of time desirable, 5-min to 60-min, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ staff is willing to provide support as desired.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Program Managers are encouraged to invite other staff from their office as they see fit.

Due to the enormity of this situation and the level of support needed to support all universities as they face the brunt of the impacts of COVID-19 Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is opening up this resources to anyone who wants it.
