is a leading Malaysian university in engineering technology. Its institution, the , is a pioneer institution that provides hands-on chemical-based technology education located in Alor Gajah, Melaka State.
In addition to being excellent in research, education, training, entrepreneurship, and consultancy, UniKL also emphasizes community services and provides students with enriching university experiences. With this emphasis, the university joined the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ network in 2021 to develop a balanced educational framework to create creative thinkers who care about the issue of sustainability.
Through the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Model, UniKL-MICET is partnering with the to explore the possibility of managing waste from the local wet market in a ‘greener’ approach. The partnership goals are to create a systematic, practical, and effective solid waste management at the Alor Gajah Wet Market community.
