Building Partnerships, RFPs, MOUs, Scopes, and Contracts

Following the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Model means building genuine partnerships between communities and universities. To do so, Â鶹ÊÓƵ programs generally rely on a Request for Proposal (RFP) and a contracting process.

Request for Proposal

The University of Oregon’s request for proposal encourages community partners to demonstrate that they are invested in a big way. .

Partnership Agreement Contract

Programs use many variations of partnership agreements. The University of Tennessee, Knoxville uses the version you see here to ensure every stakeholder is on the same page before starting a partnership. .

More Resources to Help Build Partnerships

Â鶹ÊÓƵ categorizes the various strategies and forms of partnerships. The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Toolbox for members provides access to those categorized resources. .
