Students will assess the effectivenness of the Centre County YMCA’s backpack program which distributes food to food insecure children in Centre County on weekends. Students will analyze key questions about the initiative, such as does it unintentionally lead to obesity? Does it encourage healthy eating choices? Does it leave children undernourished? Etc.
