The Village of Mount Pleasant, located in Southeastern Wisconsin, is a rapidly growing community within Racine County. Mount Pleasant prides itself on their location being in close proximity to Lake Michigan and other major metropolitan areas such as Milwaukee and Chicago. The village consists of a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial development with much of the land being agricultural. Mount Pleasant is also known for its commitment to providing recreation activities, inspiration, and maintaining a high quality of life for residents through high-quality programs, facilities, and special community
events.

By researching the effects of nature on health and wellbeing, this report explores ways on how to maintain a higher quality of life at the framework scale through the use of natural resources and various recreational activities.

Creating a conservation plan for a multi-use site in Mount Pleasant
